| The LON DALI Gateway can be connected with four DALI control units. Altogether up to 256 devices, divided into 64 DALI groups, can be connected.
In addition to the DALI connections the gateway also disposes of a LON Twisted-Pair interface with Free-Topo-logy-Transceiver, as well as an Ethernet-interface.
The TP/FT interface is intended for connection of up to 64 LON control units.
Via Ethernet-interface the LON DALI Gateway usually communicates with a superior light management or a building automation by means of LON over IP. Other DALI Gateways are also being addressed in this way.
By the integrated Ethernet interface a hierarchically very even but powerful network structure emerges without IP-gateways.
Normally initiation also is carried out via Ethernet interface. The setting of all internal parameters and configurations does not require a LON specific software and can be carried out per Standard-Internet-Browser.
For constant light control and scene control all relevant LonMark objects as „Lamp Actuator”, „Constant Light Controller”, „Occupancy Controller” and „Scene Controller” are available free configurable in nearly any quantity. The common restrictions with LON-devices, as for example the limitation of 15 address table entries, no longer exist.
The DALI Multisensors LA-11 and LAT-GE as well can be connected to the LON DALI Gateway. |
