| The LON Multi-Sensor System consists of a LON interfaced basis unit with up to five occupancy sensors, one light and one temperature sensor can be connected to.
Mounted in a ceiling of 2.5 m height, the occupancy sensors detect motion within a range of a diameter of approx. 8 m at ground level, according to ambient conditions and moving direction. The light sensor measures the illumination within a range of 200 to 1000 lux. Customary PT-1000 temperature sensors can be connected to the second analog input.
The LON Multi-Sensor System is used for purposes which standard occupancy sensors or multisensors are not suitable for.
Typical applications are:
Complete supervision of larger rooms or rooms full of nooks and crannies, where several occupancy sensors in parallel are required, such as open-plan offices, canteens, entrance areas, stairways or corridors.
Rooms, where occupancy and illumination shall be measured simultaneously but no installation place equally suitable for both sensors is available.
Rooms, where occupancy, illumination and temperature shall be measured simultaneously.
Combinations of the applications mentioned above.
