Occupancy sensor / Brightness sensor / Infrared-Receiver
The LON multisensors LA-21 and ILA-22 represent a combination of occupancy and brightness sensors.
The ILA-22 has an additional infrared receiver. Used in conjunction with the right remote-control device, up to 10 unit-overlapping room functions can be called up in pre-envisaged scenarios.
The occupancy sensor used in the multisensors is a logical development of the passive infrared movement detector. With the help of recording levels with 544 segments in 136 zones, it is also able to detect the slightest movement. At an installation height of 2.5 m the person detector covers a circular area of approximately 14 metres in diameter.
The brightness sensor is designed for daylight-dependent constant-light control. It measures internal brightness ranging from 10 to 1,000 lux and sends the measured value on the bus. In conjunction with the 1-10 V control outputs, low-cost constant-light control can be realized.
The multisensors are suitable for installation in the ceiling area indoors. With a decorative housing they can also be mounted on the ceiling.
Both multisensors have a LON interface with link power technology and can therefore be directly integrated in a LON network. The energy supply required for the control electronics is provided by the LON twisted pair network. No auxiliary voltage is additionally required.
The ideal places of operation for the multisensors are single and open-plan offices, entrance areas, corridors, staircases, sanitary rooms, classrooms and conference rooms, large and small.
Energy savings of up to 70 percent can be made on requirements-determined single-room control of the lighting, heating and ventilation. The multisensors can also be used for monitoring and signalling purposes.
